And here's our new line up for GreppGuitar:

We did test a possible new bass player last week, and it seems he's ready to rock GreppGuitar. We will have a new stringsession soon, and hopefully a rehearsal in the near future. Then we'll see if he's the right one. I'm excited to start again. Stay tuned for more updates.

Finally it seems to be happening some good stuff in GreppGuitar:

Soon I will probably announce for you a new Bass Player......

Hell Yeah !! Stay tuned for updates !!

I'm pleased to announce the first ever Tinn Lizzy gig, outside of Rjukan:

Bellman Pub at Notodden - 20.09.2014.

Spread the words.

Tinn Lizzy

wants to thank everyone who came to see us at Huset Pub, Rjukan 1st of March 2014.

We had a fantastic evening.

I'm sad to announce that Hans is leaving GreppGuitar.

Again we'll have to look for a replacement.

Tinn Lizzy has more gigs scheduled in 2014. Check out the venues here:

Regarding the Bandwagon competition:

There will be announced a lokal finale for Fredrikstad, scheduled to be Wednesday 11.09.2013

GreppGuitar has decided not to compete in this finale. We are not ready yet.

However, we would have been ready for the regions finale 21.09.2013.

So it's a bit sad to announce our withdraw in this competition.

We will be back for a new competition in October this year.

Stay tuned for more news.

Here's a picture of our beautiful Backdrop.

Made by Rockworks

The new line up is now complete. We have found a new drummer and bass player.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Here's our new Drummer: Tom Christian Tverbakk

Tom is a former member of Mercury Sun, a Horten based band. I'm very proud to have him in my band, and really look forward to present our project live.

Here's our new Bass player:

Hans Haugen

Hans has been in several bands through his career. I'm also very proud to have him in my band, and really look forward to present our project live.

New change in the line up for GreppGuitar 17.07.2013

Well, I have taken the hard decision to lay down the rehearsals with my band at Rjukan. It's too far away, and way too expensive, to continue this. All 3 of the guys at Rjukan (Christer, Frank and Morten) will continue playing in other projects/bands, and they will be able to focus more on that. We (my brother Frode and I) will also have the opportunity to focus more on my project.

As a matter of fact, we now have bought a Yamaha Tyros1 workstation, to change the sound a bit. Frode will be playing both acoustic guitar and keys. Looking forward to share some tunes with you.

We do have a new drummer, which I'm going to present in a while. We also might have a new guitar player (he's not decided yet), but we'll have to look some more for a new bass player. Any tip from you would be appreciated. It must be in the Østfold/Vestfold area.

Our plan is to start 1st rehearsal with the new line up, in August this year. We now have 20 songs ready to build the setlist, and want to be ready to play around 10 songs, before the semifinal of Bandwagon in Fredrikstad, 21st of September. So keep sharing the link to our Bandwagon page, with your friends. We might stay on top.

I really want to thank the guys at Rjukan for their effort and great playing. I will miss you guys, but believe this is for the best for all of us. We'll stay in touch, for sure.

All the the best of luck to you all.

Stay tuned for more info regarding the line up changes.

Yours sincerly!

Kent

Change in the line up for GreppGuitar  19.02.2013

And the new drummer is:

I’m very happy to announce our new member:

Christer Aasheim will be joining GreppGuitar on drums.
Christer has been a very good friend of mine for more than 30 years,

and we started “Chainsaw”, which later became “Yankee Rose”, together, back in the 80’s.
He is a tremendious musician, and also plays guitar with me in “Tinn Lizzy”…….

As a drummer he has played in the above mentioned bands, and also in “Fem Hele” and “Blakk” to mention a few.
I’m very happy to have Christer in my band, and I believe he will be the right person to replace

the great Jørgen E Kittelsen.
GreppGuitar will work hard to get a setlist to be proud of. As soon as we have 18 songs ready, we will announce a gig.

So stay tuned, and please share all links of GreppGuitar with your friends. The music must be played.

Yours sincerely
Kent

Christer Aasheim - new drummer

GreppGuitar has 5 songs being played on the Canadian Radio station, Euphonious:
Dreamin', Danger, Come on, She's the one and King of the woods.
They really loved my songs, and I'm a happy man. Very
good promotion, I must say.
I send a special thanks to these guys.
