Tinn Lizzy started as Simone And The Kan Ikke Band, and played music by Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore and others.

After a while they became a Thin Lizzy tribute band, and changed the name to Tinn Lizzy. It was the right thing to do,

as all members are from Rjukan and Tinn Municipality, in Telemark, Norway.

The members of this band has played together in several bands earlier, like

Chainsaw, Yankee Rose, Heads Up, Rjukan Boller og Blues among others.

They can look back at several gigs at Rjukan Rockfestival, Romjulsrock, and have played support for

Nazareth, DeLillos, Kaizers Orchestra and Stage Dolls, to mention a few.

A lot of people have asked Tinn Lizzy to come to Vibe for Philo, the annual happening to honour the great Philip Parris Lynott,

but the band has not got the invitation yet. Time will show when they will......
